Job Description

Summary of The Role

The Data Administrator will be responsible for the accurate collection, input, and maintenance of data across various platforms and databases. This role involves ensuring data integrity, generating reports, managing data security, and supporting departments in their data needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.

Role Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases and systems.
Act as a point of contact for employees with data-related inquiries or issues.
Work mainly with bespoke software for data entry.
Ensure data integrity and consistency by regularly cleaning and validating data.
Manage the company’s databases and ensure they are running smoothly.
Regularly back up databases to prevent data loss.
Perform data validation and audits to ensure data accuracy.
Provide data analysis to support decision-making in various departments.
Support in preparing routine and ad hoc reports as needed by different departments.

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Degree or Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience.
Proficient in data management software and tools (e.g., Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and security protocols.
Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities. Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
