Summary of The Role

The Finance Manager and FP&A Analyst to lead financial planning and analysis activities while managing the overall financial operations of our organization. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in financial management, and the ability to align financial strategies with organizational goals. This position requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for optimizing financial performance.

Role Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
Lead FP&A support for business leaders within the Finance department and organization.
Contribute to forecast, budget and long-range planning cycles, including enhancing the company’s corporate model and coordinating with stakeholders on assumptions & inputs.
Build detailed financial, scenario-based models to evaluate investment priorities and evaluate potential alternatives.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Build analysis and presentation of strategic materials for important management meetings.
Assist with management, Board business, and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests.
Support other finance team members in the day-to-day running of the finance department.

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Degree in Accounting or Finance or qualified in CA/ CIMA/ ACCA equivalent.
Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience in similar capacity.
Hands on experience working with Xero online accounting software is a MUST.
Experience with financial statement analysis and a knowledge of corporate finance concepts.
Experience in UK finance or accounting is mandatory.
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy.
Ability to possess a good command of English and a positive approach. towards working as a team.
Problem solving skills and quick-thinking approach.
Sense of accountability and responsibility towards your work.
Experience in monthly management accounts.
