Job Description

Role Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Update and maintain the general ledger
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
Recording of debits and credits
Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
Monitor any variances from the projected budget

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Degree in Accounting or Finance or partly qualified in CA/ CIMA/ ACCA equivalent
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar capacity
Hands on experience working with Xero online accounting software is a MUST
Experience in UK finance or accounting is mandatory
Prior experience working in accounts (payable or receivable) preferred
Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy
Ability to possess a good command of English and a positive approach towards working as a team
Problem solving skills and quick-thinking approach
Sense of accountability and responsibility towards your work
