Job Description

Summary of The Role

The Finance Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial planning activities. In this role, you will manage general ledger updates, reconcile accounts, track variances, and assist in financial reporting. Additionally, you will support cash flow management and budgeting processes to ensure the organization’s financial stability.

Role Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
Update and maintain the general ledger.
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
Recording of debits and credits.
Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers.
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
Support cash flow management by tracking inflows, outflows, and liquidity needs.
Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, social media, email marketing, etc.).

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Degree in Finance or Accounting or partly qualified in CA/ CIMA/ ACCA equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar capacity
Hands on experience working with Xero online accounting software.
Experience in UK finance or accounting.
Hands-on digital marketing tasks along with finance responsibilities.
Prior experience working in accounts (payable or receivable) preferred.
Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy.
Ability to possess a good command of English and a positive approach towards working as a team.
Problem solving skills and quick-thinking approach.
Sense of accountability and responsibility towards your work.
