Job Description

Summary of The Role

The Marketing Associate will work directly with the CEO to support the execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility and growth. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset to conduct market research, analyze competitor trends, and generate compelling content across multiple digital platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, tech-savvy, and comfortable leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Canva AI to optimize workflows and enhance content creation. Responsibilities include supporting email marketing, digital campaigns, and website updates while tracking performance metrics and contributing innovative ideas to boost audience engagement. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for staying ahead of marketing trends are essential for success in this dynamic and collaborative role.

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the CEO to execute and refine marketing strategies aligned with business goals
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, emerging tools, and audience insights to inform marketing decisions
Plan, create, and manage engaging content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and others
Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Canva AI to streamline content creation and boost campaign effectiveness
Track and analyze content and campaign performance metrics to evaluate impact and optimize engagement
Contribute fresh, innovative ideas for content formats, campaigns, and growth strategies
Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and newsletter strategies
Maintain and update website content to ensure brand consistency and relevance across digital channels
Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and tools to keep the brand ahead of the curve

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

A degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory)
6 months to 1 year of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital strategy is an added advantage
Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills
Confident using MS Office; familiarity with marketing tools, social media schedulers, or AI platforms is a plus
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Curious and resourceful — comfortable researching, learning new tools, and solving problems independently
A high standard of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work with sensitive or strategic information
Eager to grow in the digital marketing space and open to feedback, mentorship, and continuous learning

General Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
Location: Hybrid working – 02 days WFH & 03 days at our Colombo 5 office – Sri Lanka.
